Use the Mobile Configuration Code Table to configure settings specific to emsCharts for Windows.

  • Patient Merge Option: Select the data points for the system to use to match and merge patient records in emsCharts Web when uploading a chart with patient information that was added manually instead of using the Patient Search functionality.

  • ECG Import: Select the type of medical device you will import from and click Import Options to choose which vitals and events to import, which events to display on printed reports, and the ECG image options.

    Note: You can only choose one type of medical device to import into emsCharts for Windows.

  • Default ECG Image Attachment Category: Select the attachment type for your ECG image attachments.

  • Cloud ECG Import Hours: Choose the number of hours to look back for Cloud ECG cases to import.

  • Allow Fire Incident in Mobile (Windows): Set to 'Yes' to allow Fire Reports Incident creation in emsCharts for Windows, or 'No' to disable the feature.

  • Via UNIT tab in Mobile, default the unit/base via: Choose how you want the emsCharts for Windows unit/base fields on the Unit page to default.

  • Keep charts (for Troubleshooting): Should be set to 'Delete chart on upload (Default)'. Only set to another option at the direction of ZOLL for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Keep Charts Expiration (to auto-delete after X days): If keeping charts on the Windows device for troubleshooting purposes, enter the number of days to keep them before they are deleted.

  • Validate NEMSIS data in mobile charts: Check this option for NEMSIS validations to apply to charts in emsCharts for Windows.

Click SAVE when you are finished.
